Book Reviews

We are working on writing book reviews in first grade. It was fun finding our "five star" book for this project.

 

There were so many first grade favorites to pick from. Remember Teeny Tiny?!?! 

Making Words

We are learning about blends in Fundations. Here we are making words with our tile boards.

 

It helps us when we "tap" out our words so we can hear all the sounds when we spell.

 

 

Snow

We took a few minutes from our learning today and enjoyed watching the snowplow clear off the playground. It even made another snow hill for the preschool students!

Flat Stanley

First graders enjoyed the chapter book Flat Stanley. We made our own Flat Stanley and sent him off to family or friends all over the United States!
